The five villages Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza,
Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore make up the Cinque Terre.
The scenery is absolutely unique: narrow valleys that split the
harsh coastline, with houses hanging from the mountain tops, stairs
and alleys going up and down, boats lying on the narrow stone steps.
